Provide evidence for a control
Open the Artefacts tab, use Self-Provision to pick the artefact type, upload the files, add a comment, and submit. The provision then moves through a four-stage pipeline.

Step-by-step
- 1 Open a compliance initiative and click the 'Artefacts' tab.
- 2 Open the 'Self-Provision' section and choose 'Manually provide artefact'.
- 3 In the artefact radio list, select the artefact type you are providing (the border shows green when provided, red when missing).
- 4 In the 'Drop evidence here or click to upload' area, add your files (jpg, png, pdf, docx, xlsx, pptx, up to 10MB, up to 6 files).
- 5 Add a note in the 'Comment' field if needed. You can mention a teammate with @ followed by their email.
- 6 Click 'Submit'. The button shows 'Uploading artefact...' while it processes.
- 7 Track the provision through the status pipeline: 'Provide artefact', 'Validate artefact', 'Artefact review and approval', and 'Artefact audit by assessor'.
- 8 Use the Previous and Next controls to move to the next required artefact and repeat.
