Overview

Find your compliance posture score, understand what drives it, and use automation and monitoring to keep it live.

Step-by-step

  1. 1 Open a compliance initiative's dashboard to read its compliance posture score, and see the org-level 'Compliance Posture Score' on 'Home' alongside the Risk and Security posture scores.
  2. 2 In 'Report' then 'Trust Intelligence', read 'Overall Compliance' for the cross-initiative posture, and open the initiative's 'Trend' sub-tab for 'Compliance Posture', 'Compliance Maturity Level', and 'Compliance Control Effectiveness' over time.
  3. 3 Understand what moves the score: the share of controls assessed, the evidence provided against them, and the open gaps weighing it down.
  4. 4 Make it continuous, not a point-in-time snapshot: connect your tools under 'Account' then 'Integrations' so their security and compliance checks run as automated control assessments and supporting evidence and snapshots are collected automatically.
  5. 5 Set a control review cadence and run monitors so control status and evidence stay current between assessments instead of going stale.
  6. 6 Raise the posture by assessing the remaining controls, reusing evidence across mapped controls, and closing gaps with remediation or governed exceptions.
  7. 7 Read the whole organizational posture together on 'Home' (Compliance, Risk, and Data Security) so compliance posture is managed as one part of overall posture, not in isolation.
  8. 8 Re-check the score, trend, and maturity over successive reviews to confirm the posture is improving.
