Assess controls
Open the controls tab in an initiative, expand a control to read its detail, then assess it by setting its response. Table or formula controls open their own input.
Try it in CybervergentOverview
Open an initiative, browse objectives, and set the assessment response on each control.
Step-by-step
- 1 Open a compliance initiative from 'Posture Management' then 'Compliance'.
- 2 Click the controls tab (its name comes from the framework, for example 'Controls').
- 3 Browse the objective list, or expand the category collapse groups to find a control.
- 4 Click a control row to expand it and read its description, guidelines, and recommendations.
- 5 Note the columns: 'ID', the control name, 'Mapping' (for compliance frameworks), and 'Status'.
- 6 Click the control's status or assessment action to open its response.
- 7 Select the response (for pre-defined options this is No, Yes, Partially, or Not Applicable), or fill the table or value the control asks for.
- 8 Add a comment if needed, then click Submit. The status updates in the table.
