Overview

Read audit assurance and readiness, understand what drives them, and keep coverage current.

Step-by-step

  1. 1 Open 'Audit' then the 'Assurance' (Insights) view and read 'Audit Assurance (Engagement)' and 'Controls Effectiveness (Engagement)'.
  2. 2 On 'Home', read the audit cards (for example 'Audit Readiness Index', 'Finding Recurrence Rate', 'Audit Universe Coverage', and 'Finding Action Closure Rate') for the org-level audit posture.
  3. 3 Read audit quality in 'Report' then 'Executive Overview' under 'Audit Quality & Findings'.
  4. 4 Understand what moves it: how much of your audit universe is covered, how thoroughly engagements test controls, and how quickly findings are driven to closure.
  5. 5 Raise the posture by running engagements over the highest-priority entities and closing findings with action plans.
  6. 6 Maintain coverage across the audit cycle so assurance stays current rather than going stale between engagements.
