Manage the Exception Register
Open the Exception Register, read the Overview analytics, then use the Exceptions tab to filter by status, open an exception, and renew or withdraw it. Exceptions are created from a gap, not from this register.
Try it in CybervergentOverview
Review exception analytics and act on individual gap exceptions.
Step-by-step
- 1 In the left sidebar, open 'Governance' and click 'Exception Register' (this opens /datavergent/governance/exceptions).
- 2 On the 'Overview' tab, review the analytics (exceptions by type, by risk, expiry forecast, approval turnaround, and by status). Click the status chart to open the breakdown drawer.
- 3 Open the 'Exceptions' tab. Use the status pills (All, Pending, Approved, Rejected, Expired, Expiring Soon) to filter, or the 'Search exceptions...' box.
- 4 Read the table columns: Exception (with type and risk tags), Status, Requested By, and Expiry.
- 5 Open a row, or its 'Explore' menu action, to see the full exception detail and dates.
- 6 Use the row menu to 'Go to Initiative', 'Renew' (for approved or expired exceptions), or 'Withdraw' (for pending ones).
- 7 To create a new exception, request it from a gap in the initiative gap view, not from this register.
