Overview

Read the full DSPM overview, inventory, issues, and retention insights.

Step-by-step

  1. 1 Open 'Posture Management' then 'Data Security'.
  2. 2 On the 'Overview' tab, read 'Overall Posture', 'Overall Resources Status', and the 'Resources Policy Violations' trend and chart.
  3. 3 Read 'Issues by Assets', 'Data Resources by Classification', and 'Compliance & Governance' for where issues and sensitive data concentrate.
  4. 4 Read 'Overall Shadow Data' (unmanaged data), 'Resources Requiring Disposal', 'Avg. Remediation Time', and 'Issues by Incident Types'. Click a resource-status or classification card to drill into the underlying issues.
  5. 5 Open 'Data Inventory' for 'Data by File Types', 'Data by Access Operations', and the inventory table (ID, Name, Hash, Source, Modified).
  6. 6 Open 'Issues' for the 'Severity Distribution' (Critical, High, Medium, Low) and the issues table; filter by severity or search.
  7. 7 Open 'Data Retention' for 'Resources by Disposal Action' and the 'Resources Requiring Disposal' table (Archive, Delete, Retain). The Assets, Compliance, and Gap tabs are placeholders and may not be active yet.
