Orchestrate policy rules and monitor effectiveness so you can show policies are working, not just published.
Step-by-step
- 1 Open an artefact's 'Posture' tab and review the rules on 'Overview', then the Rules Posture, Rules Passed, and Rules Failed scores on 'Orchestration'.
- 2 Click 'Orchestrate Policy' to set each rule's context, severity, risks, services, and frequency, then submit.
- 3 In the Artefacts Center, open the 'Orchestration' tab and read the 'Total Policies', 'Effective', and 'Not Effective' stats.
- 4 Open a policy's monitor and work the 'Severity Distribution' (Low, Moderate, High, Critical), starting with the most severe issues.
- 5 Resolve the issues and watch the effectiveness scores rise across successive checks.
- 6 Use the effectiveness scores as evidence that your policies operate effectively, alongside the artefacts themselves.
