Prepare for a certification audit
Confirm controls and evidence are complete, gaps are remediated or governed, pre-test with an internal engagement, and issue the working paper and final report as the audit pack.
Try it in CybervergentOverview
Get an initiative audit ready and produce the evidence pack an external auditor expects.
Step-by-step
- 1 Confirm every control in the initiative has a response and the required evidence is provided and accepted.
- 2 From the overview, confirm gaps are remediated or carry an approved exception, and check the 'Exception Register' for anything still pending.
- 3 In the sidebar open 'Audit' then 'Universe', build a universe scoped to the in-scope entities and controls, and 'Start Engagement'.
- 4 Apply the controls under audit, create tests, and record results to pre-test design and operating effectiveness.
- 5 Raise findings for failures and drive their action plans to closure before the external audit.
- 6 On the engagement 'Report' tab, generate the Working Paper and Final Report as the evidence pack.
- 7 Present audit readiness to leadership in 'Report' then 'Executive Overview' under 'Audit Quality & Findings'.
