Close compliance gaps
Use the gap dashboard to prioritize by severity and exposure, assign remediation with owners and dates, govern accepted risk with time-bound exceptions, and confirm closure.
Try it in CybervergentOverview
Work down open gaps with prioritized remediation and governed exceptions.
Step-by-step
- 1 Open the initiative overview and review 'Potential Loss' and 'Remediation Status' to size the work and the exposure.
- 2 Expand gaps by severity and start with Critical and High, where the cost and impact are largest.
- 3 On a gap, choose 'Start Remediation', set the plan, owner, and target date, then submit.
- 4 Where a gap cannot be fixed now, choose 'Request Exception', add the justification, duration, and approvers, and submit it for sign-off.
- 5 Confirm remediated gaps move to closed and exceptions show approved in the 'Exception Register'.
- 6 Watch the remediation status cards trend down and report progress to leadership.
