Connect an integration

Open Integrations, add a new one from the library, then work the three-step setup: confirm the type, enter the name, description, and credentials on Requirements, review the monitoring checks, and submit.

Connect an integration

Overview

Add an external tool and complete the Type, Requirements, and Monitoring setup.

Step-by-step

  1. 1 In the left sidebar, open 'Account' and click 'Integrations' (this opens /datavergent/integrations; admin only).
  2. 2 Click 'New Integration' to open the 'Quickstart' library drawer.
  3. 3 Search or filter the library by category, then click 'Continue' on the integration you want.
  4. 4 Type step: confirm the selected integration type, then click 'Next'.
  5. 5 Requirements step: enter 'Name' and 'Description', then fill the credential fields the integration needs. If an 'External ID' is shown, use 'Click here to generate ID' and store it securely. Click 'Next'.
  6. 6 Monitoring step: review the 'Security & Compliance Checks' that will run against the integration (these are read-only scans).
  7. 7 Click 'Submit' to create the integration. It appears in the connected list with a 'Connected' status, or 'Requires attention' if it needs fixing.
