Overview

Set up a monitor to scan a target asset on a schedule.

Step-by-step

  1. 1 In the left sidebar, open 'Governance' and click 'Monitor' (this opens /datavergent/monitors).
  2. 2 Click 'New Monitor' to open the 'Quickstart' drawer.
  3. 3 Search the monitor list or browse the cards, then click 'Create Monitor' on the type you want.
  4. 4 On the Type step, select the framework or scan type.
  5. 5 On the Requirements step, enter the monitor name, select the target asset, set the schedule, and assign owners.
  6. 6 Click 'Submit' to create the monitor.
